Trovarsi
The Piazza SS. Cosma e Damiano offers an overview of the Forma Urbis, the church portal, the loggia, the museum and the lower-lying excavations of the old assembly hall on the map. It is reached by the stairs from Via dei Fori Imperiali. In the entrance colonnade, a window lets visitors glance day and night at the large model of ancient Rome (1: 250), which Italo Gismondi made in the 20th century (see Vertical Section II for more information). It is in the basement on roman level.
Those who start their tour here can purchase tickets for the entire excavation area (ParCo) in the Biglietteria / Shop.
