Loggia della Pianta Marmorea

The public loggia, opposite the marble map, follows the generous, freely accessible buildings of Rome that shaped both antiquity and modern times. It is more closed towards the city, but allows a glance at the map, which is gently illuminated at night. The unobstructed viewing side enables the map to be studied from a suitable distance at eye level.

The city side features a double-ramp that grants access to the „Vicus ad Carinas“ leading to the Roman Forum, integrating the Loggia and the Piazza into the tour across the excavation area (ParCo).
